The LensCoat TravelCoat for Nikon 400mm VR is custom-made for the Nikon 400mm f/2.8G ED VR AF-S NIKKOR and does not fit any other lens models. It provides premium protection for your lens when you want to transport or safely store your super-telephoto lens without the lens hood.

Black transport protection made of 3 mm neoprene

The TravelCoat is made of 3 mm thick neoprene and protects against impacts and scratches during transport. The padded cover can be quickly pulled over the lens and securely closed with the hook-and-loop fastener. This keeps your Nikon 400mm f/2.8G VR better protected when stowing, traveling, and storing it.

Space-saving in camera backpack and suitcase

Compared to a large, rigid lens case, the TravelCoat is extremely space-saving. This makes it ideal for photo trips by plane when you want to use valuable space in your carry-on luggage, camera backpack, or transport case as efficiently as possible.

Practical for lenses with tripod foot

The cover is equipped with an opening for the lens foot. This allows you to use the TravelCoat comfortably even when your Nikon 400mm f/2.8G VR is transported with the foot attached.
