Material protection: neoprene cushions impacts and reduces abrasion
The LensCoat™ telephoto lens cover made of neoprene protects your valuable lens from impacts and scratches. Neoprene provides shock absorption and reduces abrasion caused by friction, for example from straps, zippers, or other accessories in your backpack. Especially on frequent outdoor trips, this results in fewer visible signs of use and supports long-term value retention.
In addition, the material often improves grip, giving you secure handling during fast movements and longer sessions.
Comfort in the cold: insulating effect for more pleasant handling
The cover also provides an insulating function, which makes handling the lens in extreme cold more comfortable. Instead of grabbing the cold lens surface directly, you have insulating neoprene in your hand. Operation in view: viewing window for autofocus switches
