The Really Right Stuff TVC-34L Mk2 tripod, with a maximum height of 1.74 m, is one of the larger tripods. Despite its height, the tripod weighs only about 2 kg and, with a transport length of 61 cm, is compact and easy to carry.
Application range and stability
Tripods of the Mk2 Series 3 are the perfect choice for heavy camera-lens combinations. The tripod supports heavy camera-lens combinations (DSLR cameras with lenses up to 800 mm).
Suitable ball head
The RRS BH-55 ball head complements the tripod perfectly (optionally available).

- Leg angle adjustment: Locks into fixed leg angles.
- SureGrip™ Apex Lock: Holds your tripod head securely so the tripod can be carried over the shoulder without concern.
- Quick Column center column: (must be purchased separately) For quick and convenient height adjustment.
- Offset leg joint: The leg joints are designed so that the bowl mount, the leg angle locks, and the outer wall of the tripod legs are aligned, meaning loads are directed straight through the most stable structural elements, achieving maximum vibration damping (avoiding bending and torsional forces). This also reduces the tripod diameter when folded.
- Tripod leg: Ultra-thin-walled carbon tubes with a large diameter provide excellent stability and vibration absorption with low weight.
- Hook for extra weight: An additional weight can be attached here, ideally using a carabiner.
- Twist Lock: Large, ergonomic ring made of rubber-coated aluminum for a good grip and convenient loosening and locking. Simultaneous operation per leg is possible, and only a quarter turn is needed to loosen.
- Interchangeable foot: Its shape ensures a secure hold and prevents the legs from touching the ground when spread.
