Comfort and versatility in the largest Tragopan hide tent
The Monal photo hide - Monal V3 offers maximum comfort and versatility. It is the largest hide tent from Tragopan and provides space for two photographers or one photographer operating multiple cameras.
The Monal has 6 main shooting windows that can be individually adjusted to offer different levels of visibility depending on the subject to be photographed or filmed. The Monal comes with a variety of interchangeable windows and lens sleeves that can be used for each of the concealed shooting windows, and additionally offers the option of using a flash.

Space and possible uses
Description:
This hide tent offers ample space for two nature photographers with equipment. You can also sleep in this tent if it takes a little longer or circumstances require it.
Window system, weather protection and operation
The Monal window system prevents water ingress by means of a rain flap that completely covers the zipper of the shooting windows from the outside when not in use.
After opening the zipper, the canopy is opened with two cords that can be operated silently from inside the tent. Each canopy has small viewing windows that can be opened or closed and provide space for a small telephoto lens or binoculars. These windows give the photographer a better view around the tent.
Setup, ventilation and stability
The Monal can be set up and taken down in just a few minutes thanks to a robust hub system. The removable floor can remain in place, making the tent ideal for overnight stays in the tent or for working in damp areas. The tent is also well ventilated thanks to a rain fly over a roof that is largely made of mesh fabric. This prevents condensation on cold days and keeps it from getting too hot in the sun.
The optional lens sleeve for the mesh door can be attached to one or both doors of the Monal to provide even more ventilation on hot days.
Thanks to the height-adjustable feet on all four pole legs, the tent can easily be set up on uneven or sloping ground.
Material, insulation and light management
The Monal is made of waterproof 150D polyester that dries as quickly as nylon but is significantly more robust and withstands UV radiation much better. The isothermal tent fabric stores body heat and creates a temperature difference of up to 8 degrees Celsius compared to the outside air. It lowers the temperature inside the tent in sunlight and ensures complete darkness inside to prevent shadow formation in backlight.
