The Tragopan Maxi Grouse camouflage tent is your spacious hide for undisturbed wildlife and nature photography. It combines plenty of space with high discretion and is ideal when you are working alone with extensive gear or photographing and observing together with a second person.

Plenty of space for two people and long sessions

With a footprint of 145 x 135 cm and a height of 155 cm, the Maxi Grouse offers you sufficient freedom of movement for camera, tripod, telephoto lens and additional equipment. Especially during longer sessions you benefit from the generous interior, as you can work more comfortably and organize your gear more effectively.

Pop-up construction for quick deployment

The pop-up structure makes the hide particularly quick to set up. This allows you to react swiftly at your shooting location when light, subject or observation conditions change. When folded, the tent measures 55 x 55 cm and, with a weight of 6 kg including accessories, remains easy to transport.

Realistic Undergrowth camouflage pattern for natural cover

The exclusive TRAGOPAN Realistic Undergrowth camouflage pattern blends very unobtrusively into natural vegetation. It is particularly useful at forest edges, in reed beds, undergrowth or in structurally rich natural environments, as it breaks up hard contours and makes you less visible to shy wildlife.

Waterproof material with dark interior

The Tragopan Maxi Grouse is made of waterproof 150D Oxford polyester and has a black induction coating. This keeps the interior dark, which reduces visible movements and silhouettes and helps you remain as inconspicuous as possible during wildlife photography.

Increased stability with optional roof poles

For additional structural stability, two roof poles are included, which are inserted inside at mid-height into the corners. This arches the roof and adds about 30 cm in height. Use is optional, but is particularly recommended in rainy conditions or for longer set-up times, as water accumulation on the roof can be reduced.

Secure anchoring and natural camouflage adaptation

The hide has four external attachment points at mid-height, to which the supplied guy lines can be fixed. In addition, straps are located at the four floor corners for anchoring with additional pegs. Cords sewn to the outside allow you to attach branches, leaves or reeds and adapt the tent even better to the surroundings.

Flexible windows for photo and video

The main door can be opened halfway and offers you a large mesh window with an integrated opening for your telephoto lens. Side zip windows allow quick shots when an animal approaches from the left or right. These windows consist of a closable blackout module and a mesh module with a central slit.

Dual-station front for two shooting positions

The front of the Tragopan Maxi Grouse is designed for two simultaneous shooting stations. Each station features a versatile tripod opening and a large modular main opening with sleeves. This allows you to comfortably use low-angle perspectives, classic telephoto setups or a spotting scope with 45° eyepiece for digiscoping.

Thoughtful interior details

An inner pocket provides space for window modules not currently in use or small lightweight items. The hide also comes with detailed folding instructions. Folding may require a bit of practice at first, but after a few attempts it quickly becomes routine.

Important setup note

Please note that the hide is constructed with spring steel rings. Open and fold it carefully and keep sufficient distance from your face, body and other people.
