Leofoto LM-364CL Summit carbon tripod, when stability really matters
The Leofoto LM-364CL Summit is a three-legged carbon tripod, more precisely a carbon tripod with 10-layer wrapped carbon tubes. It supports up to 30 kg while remaining pleasantly manageable, because despite its robust design it weighs only 2.05 kg. The maximum working height is 1.70 m, the transport length is 59.8 cm. And yes, this is the kind of tripod you set up once and then realize: nothing wobbles, even with a larger setup.
It is also made for working close to the ground. The minimum working height is 9.6 cm, which in practice is simply worth its weight in gold for macro work and very low perspectives, especially outdoors on uneven ground.
Carbon legs with 4 sections and large tube diameters
The legs are designed with four sections per leg. The diameters are deliberately generous: 36 mm, 32 mm, 28 mm and 25 mm. This gradation ensures high bending stiffness, noticeable rigidity and very good vibration damping – exactly what you are looking for in telephoto work or long exposures in landscape photography.
It is also practical that the leg angles can be set in three stages. You can choose between 23°, 55° and 85°. This makes switching from normal working height to low-angle perspectives quite straightforward, without a lot of trial and error.
75 mm bowl mount, removable platform and bubble level
The LM-364CL comes with a 75 mm bowl mount. The tripod plate is removable and has an integrated bubble level so you can quickly level the base accurately. In addition, the platform can easily be swapped for the supplied 75 mm half bowl. This gives you flexibility, for example if you want to use 75 mm leveling bowls or tripod heads with an integrated 75 mm bowl.
A leveling insert can be retrofitted as an option if you want to tune your setup even more towards fast, precise leveling later on.
Optionally retrofittable center column and accessory mounting on the tripod shoulder
A center column can be retrofitted as an option. This is convenient because you can initially use the tripod as an especially rigid platform and only add the extra height or fine adjustment when you really need it.
There is a 3/8 UNC thread on the tripod shoulder to which optional accessories can be attached, for example an accessory arm, monitor holder or other equipment for the studio or for architectural shots. This keeps the setup tidy while remaining open to expansion.
Recommended for landscape, telephoto, macro, low-angle work, architecture and studio
