Binocular mounts for steady observation

Let’s be honest: a good pair of binoculars is only half the battle; without a suitable binocular mount, the image shakes, your hands get tired and the fine details simply disappear. With a stable binocular mount you can get significantly more out of your binoculars, especially during extended observation, such as birdwatching, hunting or stargazing at night. With Arca-style quick-release system

Many of our binocular mounts are compatible with the proven Arca-style quick-release system. What that means for you: simply slide the adapter into the Arca-style clamp of your tripod head, tighten briefly and you’re basically done. No fiddling, no improvising with random spacers. This type of binocular mount provides an especially torsion-resistant connection between binoculars and tripod head, which helps enormously at high magnifications, because every tiny wobble would otherwise be mercilessly visible.

Thanks to the precise fit of the Arca-style rail, the binocular mount sits solidly in the clamp and allows for clean, repeatable alignment. This way you can quickly remove your binoculars, use them handheld, and then place them back on the tripod in exactly the same position, without having to search again each time.

With standard tripod thread

Not every tripod uses Arca-style, of course. That’s why you’ll also find binocular mounts with classic standard tripod threads in 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch. These adapters are simply screwed onto the tripod head and thus fit a wide range of tripods, from compact travel tripods to heavy-duty three-legged models in the field. This lets you continue using your existing equipment without having to replace the entire setup.

A well-crafted binocular mount with a matching tripod thread ensures that your binoculars are mounted centrally, securely and without play. This reduces vibrations, makes it easier to track moving subjects and simply makes longer observation sessions more pleasant, because you can focus on the image instead of the mount.

As soon as you use your binoculars on a tripod with a suitable binocular mount, you’ll usually notice the difference within seconds.
