Leofoto QDM-1 QD socket for flexible carrying straps
With the Leofoto QDM-1 QD socket, you can quickly make your tripod or compatible accessories ready for a QD-compatible carrying strap. The compact mount creates a stable connection between your equipment and a quick-detach system, so you can carry your setup more comfortably and put it down again quickly when needed.
Quickly attached and securely connected
The QDM-1 is mounted via the 1/4"-20 UNC thread in a suitable accessory port. For an especially secure fit, you can tighten the mount with a hex key. After that, the matching QD strap anchor locks directly into the socket and can be released just as quickly.
Technical classification of the Leofoto QDM-1
The QD socket is designed as a quick-release coupling and is made of aluminum. It is intended for accessory use and is supplied without a carrying pouch. For use, you need a suitable strap with QD strap anchor, as the QDM-1 itself provides the receptacle for the strap anchor.
Who is this QD mount suitable for?
The Leofoto QDM-1 is practical if you want to connect your tripod, a compatible tripod head, or other accessories modularly with a carrying strap. Especially when you are on the go, in nature photography, or on longer walks between two locations, you save yourself cumbersome reconfiguration and can have your equipment ready to hand more quickly.

Tip
Like all mechanical components, QD adapters need occasional maintenance so that the pins function reliably. We maintain our adapters with Ballistol or WD-40.
