Effect against stray light
HoodEye™ effectively prevents stray light from entering when looking through the viewfinder.
This gives you a more brilliant and higher-contrast viewfinder image, making manual focusing and selecting the image section easier!
Mounting and material design
Mounting is quick and easy by sliding it onto the clamping profile, with a special self-latching quick-change mechanism guaranteeing a firm and secure hold of the eyecup on your camera. The model for Nikon round viewfinders is screwed on. Depending on the model, the quick-change clamp or screw thread and the inner ring of the viewfinder are made of metal or plastic. The eyecup itself is made of rubber.
Viewing with right or left eye
The HoodEYE eyecup, thanks to its rotatable rubber cup, is suitable for viewing with either the right or left eye.
