Leofoto QDM-2 QD socket for your carrying system
With the Leofoto QDM-2 QD socket, you can equip your tripod or compatible gear for use with a QD carrying strap. The black mount is compact, stable, and ideal when you want to transport your setup quickly, safely, and comfortably on the go.
3/8"-QD mount with a well-designed connection
The Leofoto QDM-2 QD socket is designed for use with 3/8" applications and is listed in the technical data section with 1/4 and 3/8 connection threads. This allows you to use it flexibly in suitable tripod and carrying concepts. A carrying bag is not included.
What you need for use
Since the QDM-2 itself provides the QD receptacle, you will need a suitable strap with QD strap anchor for use. The strap anchor locks into the socket and can be quickly released again if needed.
Practical for photo tours and longer distances
If you often carry your tripod between different locations, the Leofoto QDM-2 makes handling your equipment more pleasant. Instead of an improvised attachment, you get a clean QD solution that really shines in nature photography, travel photography, and mobile setups.

Tip
Like all mechanical components, QD adapters need a bit of maintenance from time to time so that the pins function reliably. We maintain our adapters with Ballistol or WD-40.
