Leofoto DA-1 cable clamp: Tidy rig, no fiddling

You know the problem of cables constantly getting in the way. The Leofoto DA-1 cable clamp keeps them where they belong – neatly on your setup and not dangling somewhere in front of the display or off to the side. You get a compact, pleasantly unobtrusive solution that simply works in everyday use and makes everything look a bit more “tidy”.

Space for five cables, sensibly arranged

The DA-1 holds a total of five cables. Four of them fit standard-thickness cables, plus there is another channel for a cable with a slightly larger diameter. That’s practical, because in reality things are rarely all the same thickness. HDMI, USB, shutter release, power – whatever you’ve got connected – can be routed cleanly without having to crush the cables.

Mounting on an L-bracket with 38 mm dovetail clamping profile

The DA-1 is mounted on the side of an L-bracket. Important: the required 38 mm dovetail clamping profile must be present. According to the manufacturer, the coupling is Arca-style compatible (38 mm dovetail), and the clamp works with a screw lock. For you this means: position it, tighten it, done. No wobbling, no “just barely holds”.

1/4 inch UNC thread for accessories directly on the side

In addition, the Leofoto DA-1 has a 1/4 inch UNC thread on the side. You can attach accessories with a 1/4 inch UNC connection there, for example a small arm, a bracket or other rig accessories. It’s the kind of detail you only miss when it’s not there.

Durable 6061 T6 aluminum, CNC machined and black anodized

The DA-1 is made from 6061 T6 aluminum and CNC machined. The surface is black anodized, looks understated and visually matches most rigs and brackets. And although it’s built to be sturdy, it remains lightweight: it weighs 36.0 g. You hardly notice it on the setup, but you do notice that the cables suddenly stop being annoying.
