Leofoto AM-3 Magic Arm: Securely place accessories where you need them

The Leofoto AM-3 Magic Arm helps you attach accessories such as a smartphone, flash, or microphone to a tripod or other objects, as long as a 1/4" UNC thread is available. Whether on a tripod leg, a clamp, or a small rig rail, the arm sits exactly where you want it and stays there.

Two joints, quick to adjust, precisely aligned

The AM-3 can be angled at two points. That sounds simple, but in everyday use it’s exactly the difference between “kind of works” and “fits right away.” You can finely adjust the angle, bring the accessory closer to the camera, or deliberately position it to the side, depending on how you currently need light, sound, or monitoring. And yes, sometimes a small readjustment is all it takes to keep something from intruding into the frame.

1/4" UNC external thread at top and bottom: compatible with common photo accessories

You’ll find a 1/4" UNC external thread at both the top and bottom. This allows the Magic Arm to be integrated into existing setups very easily, without adapter chaos. You screw it on, mount your accessory, done. Especially with frequently changing setups, this saves a bit of time and nerves.

Stable but not bulky: aluminum, stainless steel, and 126 g weight

The AM-3 is made of aluminum and stainless steel, a combination that has proven itself in practice: light enough for your bag, robust enough for daily use. At 126 g it doesn’t add much weight, yet it doesn’t feel delicate either. Its length is 17.0 cm, giving you noticeable reach without the arm turning into a giant lever hanging off the tripod.

Load capacity up to 3.0 kg and grippy width with knurling

Leofoto specifies a load capacity of up to 3.0 kg. That’s more than sufficient for typical accessories such as LED lights, field monitors, microphones, or smartphone mounts, and there’s still some reserve for slightly heavier combinations. The width is 5.4 cm (with knurling), which you’ll appreciate when tightening it. It’s simply easier to grab, even when you’re in a hurry or your fingers are cold.
